On a beautiful day last spring, Michael and Michelle could not have been more excited to get married at Burnaby Mountain Golf Course. Peter and I met Michelle a few years back when she was a bridesmaid at a wedding we were photographing, and as it turned out I used to work with Michael’s sister before I became a full time photographer. It is such a small world and we just love to receive recommendations from past brides!

Michael and Michelle had their engagement photos at Deer Lake Park and loved the gardens so much they decided that it would be the perfect place for their wedding photos as well.  After the couple had their first look, the bridal party joined us for photos in the beautiful garden. We then went to the Burnaby Mountain Golf Course for the marriage celebration. The outdoor patio was a gorgeous backdrop for the couple’s vows.

The reception was a fun evening with friends and family. The food looked delicious, and the wedding cake was so simple yet pretty. The evening’s entertainment had lots of laughs with the shoe game and the groom’s serenade to the bride was very sweet. We took the bride and groom outside to give them a quiet moment and of course get a couple of evening portraits. The party continued on with everyone was up on the dance floor until the time we had to leave. I’m sure the good times continued all night long!
