Peter and I are looking forward to Michael & Lindsay’s wedding in Harrison on this holiday weekend! I met them for their engagement shoot on a very chilly and wet December day. We roamed around under the cover of the Granville Street bridge, where they happily snuggled into each other to keep warm or maybe just because they are absolutely smitten with one another!

After our unseasonably warm spring, the weather has taken a turn as of late. No worries for this lovely couple, a dip in the Hot Springs after a night of dancing and celebrating will be just what the doctor ordered! Looking forward to capturing your memories for you both!

Granville Island engagement shoot… Grant & Danica

We met Grant and Danica on a rainy afternoon in March for their engagement shoot and to discuss wedding plans over a glass of wine. Peter and I had met Danica previously but this was the first time we met Grant. We enjoyed the opportunity to get to know the two of them as a couple.

Danica’s irrepressible smile and warm personality had Grant smitten and they didn’t seem to notice the chill in the weather. We stayed under cover but managed to get a variety of adorable photos in a small space. It was fun to just hang out and document the love that is Grant & Danica.

We look forward to spending the day with the two of you tomorrow as you start your journey as husband and wife! It is going to be a great day!

Granville Island engagement shoot… Mike & Kristy

We met Mike & Kristy at Granville Island back in February for their engagement shoot. The days had been unseasonably warm leading up to their shoot but as luck would have it, it turned chilly on the day of. These two didn’t seem to mind (or notice) the weather and we had a great time wandering around Granville Island finding places to snuggle up to each other. And who can blame the stranger lady for coming up and giving Mike a big hug, as the saying goes… ‘Hug a firefighter and feel warm all over’… I’m pretty sure that is a saying

These two sweethearts are getting married this Friday at Whonnock Lake… looking forward to spending a sunnier (fingers crossed) day with them, but whatever the weather I know it will be fun!!

Granville Island engagement shoot… Kyle & Tayler

Peter and I met Kyle & Tayler last year for their engagement shoot at Granville Island. It was a beautiful fall day and we wandered around finding spots where they could cuddle and show their amazing love for one another.

Kyle and Tayler are a joy to be around, both of them stunning, but they are just as beautiful inside. Their joy is contagious, I am so happy for them and know they have a long love story ahead.

Tomorrow, Peter and I will have the pleasure to spend the day with Kyle & Tayler to capture their wedding memories. It will be the last of our season for 2014, so nice to end on a fantastic note. Rain or shine, no matter!
