Chris\u00a0and Liz\u00a0were married at Stanley Park\u00a0Pavilion\u00a0in September\u00a0of 2016. The\u00a0Pavilion\u00a0is the jewel of Stanley Park, and one of the prettiest locations for an outdoor wedding in Vancouver. Peter and I were thrilled to be shooting there again.<\/p>\n

It had been a\u00a0long hot summer, but\u00a0the weather was perfect on the day of the wedding.\u00a0It was still quite warm, but the rain from the day before had left a freshness in the air. The grounds surrounding\u00a0the Pavilion\u00a0were gorgeous, the flower beds still bursting with colour even though summer was almost at an end. The garden ceremony was gorgeous and we didn’t have far to go for great photos after.<\/p>\n

For the reception, the\u00a0Lord Stanley\u00a0Ballroom with it\u2019s bright and fresh\u00a0interior was a lovely backdrop to Liz’s gorgeous\u00a0flowers. Chris\u00a0and Liz love to travel and the theme for the reception decor was places from their travels.\u00a0It\u00a0was a very relaxed\u00a0evening\u00a0with great food and music. The funny stories and kind words from loved ones resulted in tears and laughter, happily more of the later.\u00a0 After the cake was cut, it was time to party! \u00a0Everyone\u00a0let loose and had a great night with dancing and fun times.<\/p>\n

Chris\u00a0and Liz, we hope\u00a0that your first months\u00a0of\u00a0marriage have been a blast\u00a0and the travels\u00a0that lie\u00a0ahead of you will be as\u00a0amazing as your wedding day!
