What can I say… I am a little behind on blogging in this busy summer wedding season. I am going to use the excuse of no power during the Summer Storm 2015 that wiped out power to over 700,00 homes in the Lower Mainland, us being one of those homes. I usually get the engagement blog out just before the wedding but… 🙂

Peter and I just had the pleasure of shooting Matt & Anna’s wedding at the UBC Boathouse in Richmond.  So much love for these wonderful people from family and friends.  It was appropriate to be so near the airport as these two adorable people are also pilots! Here is one sneak peek from the wedding day.

I am looking forward to sharing their wedding but for now here is their engagement shoot taken at Stanley Park. We met Matt & Anna on a beautiful early summer evening as the sun was getting low in the sky, my favourite time to shoot!  We made a few different stops, chasing the light and ending with a dazzling sunset on Third Beach.

I hope the two of you are enjoying your honeymoon, I’m sure you have jetted somewhere fabulous!
