Michael & Lindsay… Harrison Hot Springs wedding

Michael & Lindsay were married at Harrison Hot Springs Resort and Spa on the May long weekend of 2016. The historic hotel was built was built in 1926 and has had several renos and additions over the years. It is a great place for a destination wedding or a nice get-away and since it is  a 90 minute drive from Poco, Peter and I booked a room too. 🙂

The day started out with cool weather as I captured Lindsay getting ready, and as it was an outdoor ceremony I said a little prayer that the rain would hold off. Peter hung out with the Michael and his friends capturing his last few moments of bachelorhood.

The grounds of the Resort were gorgeous with the gardens in full bloom. After the ceremony and family photos on the on the beautiful lawn, the couple preferred to have a bit of alone time. That gave Peter and I a chance to get our bags to our room and refresh a bit for the second part of our work day.

Later in the afternoon we met the group for some photos in the hotel and by the lake. The ladies were beautiful and their dresses complimented by the stunning bouquets from Floral Design by Lili. The men were dashing in their tuxes and pocket watches. The weather cooperated for us and just started to rain as we were finishing up.

The English garden theme was evident for the reception, the ballroom was beautifully decorated with flowers and Lindsay chose the prettiest wedding cake ever. Michael & Lindsay, along with their family and friends, enjoyed a great evening of delicious food and speeches with laughs and sentimental tears. After the romantic and touching first dance, the dance floor opened to the eager crowd and continued into the night. Since we did not have to commute home, Peter and I ended the night in the hot springs… heavenly!

Michael & Lindsay, we wish you the best. I hope you will have a beautiful life together!
