Our day with Tony & Margaret for their September wedding was a flurry of locations and dress changes on a blazing hot, late summer day.  We started our coverage at the ceremony at Our Lady of Good Council in Surrey.  It was a beautiful ceremony. I had a perfect vantage point to view the whole church from the balcony and also was able to get a great group shot after the ceremony with the crucifix in the background.

After the a few photos and hugs & congratulations from the guests, we arrived at Tony’s parent’s house. Margaret changed into modest cheongsam for the tea ceremony with Tony’s parents and other relatives. Afterwards she changed back into her beautiful white wedding dress and we headed to Bear Creek Park in Surrey for some portraits.

Our next stop was the Richmond Oval where Margaret changed into the third and my favourite dress. We hung out, had fun and did some photos at the Oval and the nearby dyke walk way.

After our photo session, it was time for the celebrations at the Continental Seafood Restaurant in Richmond. Dress number two made a second appearance for the tea ceremony with Margaret’s parents and family. Dress number four for the reception was also lovely.

Margaret put so much work into making her wedding truly special. That was evident in how the restaurant was transformed, I walked in and was absolutely mesmerized. The wedding cake was a work of art! We stayed long enough to capture some speeches and Margaret surprised Tony by singing a song to him, she is a great singer! I hear there were plans for another dress change… 🙂
