It was a warm August day for Matt & Kaitlyn’s wedding at Riverway Golf Club in Burnaby. Peter and I were freshly back from our anniversary trip to Maui and excited to spend the day with them.

We started at Matt & Kaitlyn’s beautiful new condo where Peter shot the boys getting ready. I did Kaitlyn’s bridal preparation photos at Kaitlyn’s parent’s place in the same building. As it does happen, the Friday afternoon traffic was busy, but we were only a little bit behind schedule for the ceremony at Riverway… merely fashionably late.

Riverway has the most lovely backdrop for an outdoor ceremony, that coupled with the West Coast styled reception area with exposed wooden beam features and floor to ceiling windows to let the light in, makes it one of our favourite venues. It is just a short trip down the road to the Fraser River where we took the group for photos.

Matt and Kaitlyn are one of the most loving couples we have worked with. Always at each others side, it is easy to tell they are best friends as well as husband and wife. We know there are great things in store for them!
