It was a very hot day in July for Mark & Kristie’s wedding at Squamish Valley Golf Club in Squamish. Peter and I were excited for the road trip and to spend the day with them.

We started at The Executive Suites where Peter shot the boys getting ready while I joined Kristie with all of her lovely girlfriends. Kristie’s dress definitely stays in my mind as one of my favorites, she looked very much like a princess for the day.

We did portraits of the guys and girls separately, careful that the couple did not accidentally see each other before the ceremony. It was worth the effort, the look on Mark’s face the first time he saw Kristie as she walked down the aisle was unforgettable.

Squamish Valley Golf has the most lovely backdrop for an outdoor ceremony, the mountains in the background were stunning and the sun shone brilliantly. We had a fun ride in golf carts after the ceremony for some photos by the pond.

At clubhouse reception, dinner was eaten, toasts were made, and then it was party time! Mark & Kristie are one of the most fun couples and they danced the night away to the sounds of live music from none other than Mark’s father’s band.
